Great part but

Love the part except for one thing. You cannot carry with it installed
The weapon will not fit in the holster with it installed. Excellent accuracy on range day though.
just wow

Works wonderfully. Best enhancement for any Glock other than an upgraded trigger.
One reviewer wrote that the gun can't be carried with it installed.
WRONG.
I have it on my G38. The snap of the .45 GAP is now mitigated & my doubles & triples are a joy. The gun fit is now slightly tighter in my 2 different leather holsters but no issue at all with holstering or drawing & my heat gun & 5 minutes of time adapted my 3 different Kydex holsters to fit properly, easy-peasy.
I'll adapt all of my Glocks to have this part as funds become available.
Phenomenal tool for marksmanship enhancement

I purchased two of these thumb rest for a Glock 17 and 19 and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to install. The thumb rest was invaluable in the left hand placement and proper hand alignment. The thumb rest definitely improves a shooters ability and a great enhancement for new shooters to establish a great base in marksmanship fundamentals. As a retired police officer I modified my Kydex holster to accommodate the thumb rest. I holstered and unholstered my weapon extensively and the active retention did not fail, nor did I alter functionality/rigidity of the holster. Highly recommend this thumb rest for all levels of shooters.
Yes, you can probably carry a G43 with this device!!! (and need more than 1k chars)

I carry with a Raven Concealment Vanguard II trigger guard clip, so the thumb rest WILL be against my shirt and appendix. So far, I can't tell it's there, but I'll see how much of a dent it leaves in a few hours . Now, regarding carrying in a holster: Fits in my duty holster, snugly. I can loosen the holster a tad, but the holster is for a G19, and my ECD is a G43X, so maybe just a tiny bit wider on the adjustment. Also have a We the People kydex holster. No problem, a bit of spread, but that's what kydex is good at, and if I'm worried, I can loosen that. Haven't tried to shoot yet - was going to, today's my day RSOing at the range, but the weather had other ideas. Again, if I don't notice a difference in recoil control, or it leaves a bad mark, I'll post again. So far, 5/5 (provisional). To my friend how said you can't carry with it, maybe a different holster is called for - you can weigh the cost ($) vice reward (controlling Mighty Mouse pew pew) for yourself.
Review, part II

Alright, several hours carrying G43X with the thumb-rest in a RC Vanguard II guard/clip. NO MARKS on my belly.
Now the better half wants one for her G43X - and she's gonna get one!
