Standard Power is the factory weight spring and some find it very stiff.

Reduced Power uses a lighter spring which makes it easier to cycle the slide by hand.

If you make only one purchase to upgrade your Glock, This is it!

Purchased a Pure Tungsten Guide Rod for my Glock 19. Install was super easy.
Rod and spring are exceptionally well made. Recoil and rise were substantially reduced. What a difference this will make on your accuracy and comfort. Highly recommended! In the process of ordering one for the wife's 43X!

Significant Difference - Get it!!

Purchased this for my Glock 43x, as it was a bit "snappy" and not too fun to shoot. After adding the pure tungsten guide rod, it has changed the gun completely. My shot groupings progressed drastically and it is almost as fun as shooting my G17. Highly recommend!

Game changing guide rod

Total night and day difference with the tungsten guide rod, closed up my grouping by dropping the barrel faster and allowed me to re-acquire target faster and accurately. Definitely recommend for the 43x mos platform.

It works!!

This guide rod works exactly as advertised. The extra weight tamed the muzzle flip on my 43x so well that it felt like a totally different gun. This was money well spent, I highly recommend it.

Fantastic addition to my G43X!

This part is kind of expensive but IMO it is totally worth it. The added weight in the front really does improve control of my G43X. It did feel like the regular spring made my gun more difficult to rack (this is partially due to my arthritis), but I asked Glock Store if I could exchange it for the one with the "reduced power" recoil spring, and now it is PERFECT. I also have to give kudos to The Glock Store for their customer service- it is absolutely amazing! Above and beyond what most businesses offer these days. I just recently purchased my Glock and it is actually the first one I've owned- I'm glad I discovered the GS and I will definitely be continuing to purchase from them in the future. A must investment for your Glock but needs more color options

I have one for my 48 mos and I love it, but I wish you guys offered more colors, I want one for my 43x mos but I can’t find a color that I want to fit for the theme of this gun, like a dark orange/brinze or forest green would be nice! Or like a purple would be cool too

Game changer

I’ve had my 43x about a three weeks to be exact and I was truly hating the snappy recoil when I went to the range so I decided to watch Lenny’s video about upgrading to the pure tungsten once I picked up my pistol I could immediately feel the difference in the weight looking forward to testing it out on the range
